SHADOW A TEACHER PROGRAM
The shadow program gives Georgia Tech students and alumni the chance to spend one day with a teacher who teaches a subject of interest. For example, if you hope to teach high school Chemistry, we can arrange for you to shadow a high school Chemistry teacher; if you hope to teach middle school English Language Arts, we can arrange that as well. You can visit multiple schools, each for one day only.
The participating schools currently are:
Centennial Academy (Atlanta: Atlanta Public Schools) (walking distance from Tech Tower)
Holy Innocents' Episcopal School (Atlanta: private religious school) (need car)
KIPP Metro Atlanta (Atlanta: 8 public charter schools - specific school TBD) (need a car)
Norcross High School (Norcross: Gwinnett County Public Schools) (need car)
Lilburn Elementary School (Lilburn: Gwinnett County Public Schools) (need car)
Marietta High School (Marietta: Marietta City Schools) (need car)
Meadowcreek High School (Norcross: Gwinnett County Public Schools) (need car)
